Cobo Center

OVERVIEW
A brand new Cobo Center debuted in downtown Detroit in 2015, after a six-year, $279 million transformation. Along with revamped hi-tech meeting rooms, a dramatic three-story, glass atrium serves as a focal point.  Glass-enclosed, pre-function space and an open-air terrace, both overlooking the Detroit River and the skyline of Windsor, Ontario, complement the new 40,000-square-foot Grand Riverview Ballroom.  A new riverfront entrance leads to a completely overhauled food court with new restaurants, and the lower-level convention space.  Technology upgrades include overrsized external digital signage, plasma screen customer information stations and a fully equipped broadcast studio with satellite uplink.
